Greenwood Update has been founded with a simple goal. To provide extensive resources on the city of Greenwood, and Greenwood County. At Greenwood Update we seek to prove a wealth of information on Greenwood County's past, present, and future. We have compiled a number of resources for our continued work of cataloging and preserving the history of the area.
The ultimate goal of greenwoodupdate.com is to create a Web portal on Greenwood County information that will be used by scholars, teachers, students and the general public. When it is completed, Greenwood Update will function as a site for finding information in accessible, digital formats on the history of the city, and for researchers and scholars of Greenwood City history to communicate easily with one another online.
